Accredited journals are invited to register for DOR via https://dor.isc.ac and complete the form “Sign Up”. An email will automatically be sent to the e-address provided by the user following the completion of the form. This email contains a link to confirm the registration process. Once the user confirms the registration, the ISC staff will review the data to finalize the registration process. Users will gain access to DOR following this step. It is worth reminding that completing DOR registration form is mandatory just for those users who have not registered for Fast XML Uploading System at https://xml.isc.ac. Accordingly, if you already have a username and password for ISC Fast XML Uploading System, there is no need to register again for DOR.
Since DOR adopts ISSN to produce a unique code, it is significant to make sure of ISSN accuracy. As soon as you access the DOR system, go to drop-down list in menu and click “User Profile” and verify the ISSN. It is possible for the user to update/modify the ISSN before receiving the first DOR. In case of any discrepancy, please contact us at https://xml.isc.ac.
In order to establish a DOR link in an object file and gain access to bibliographic data of that object, right click on the code and select “Hyperlink” to enter https://dor.isc.ac/dor in Address and then enter the code produced for the object in address box. Next, click “Ok”. Please follow the format as given below:
Sample DOR link: https://dor.isc.ac/dor/20.1001.1.22516530.1399.11.4.1.1
The fixed part: https://dor.isc.ac/dor/
Unique code: 20.1001.1.22516530.1399.11.4.1.1
DOR: 20.1001.1.22516530.1399.11.4.1.1
As soon as DOR web service is activated, it is needless to upload files in XML or Excel format manually. Accordingly, when the publisher's sponsoring companies provide this service, you can receive DOR with a click on from your website and insert it in the object PDF file.
Journals that use the Yektaweb publishing management system can get DOR codes for their individual articles at a click.
